Whole Wheat Bread

Eating out of a homemade bread loaf is satisfying to the core. You know the ingredients you are using, you know the personal hygiene that you are maintaining and you know the freshness of your product. Above everything the health benefits of a whole wheat bread are icing on the cake.

So here is what you require to Bake a lovely Whole-Wheat Bread Loaf in quick easy ways:
Whole Wheat Flour- 250 gms
Fresh Yeast- 13 gms
Oil- 15gms
Salt- 4 gms
Water- 165 ml
Gluten Powder- 2gms
Calcium Phosphate- 1 gm
Bread Improver- a Pinch
Sugar- 12 gms
Preparation Method:
If using dough mixer:
Take water,sugar,yeast and salt. Give it a spin until sugar dissolves. 

Now add Wheat flour, Bread Improver, Calcium Phosphate and Gluten Powder along with Oil. Switch on the dough mixer and let the dough get mixed. In between add upto 50 ml water to avoid dough from sticking on sides of the mixer. You have to keep mixing it on slow mode for 4 minutes and 5 minutes on fast mode.   

If mixing the dough with hands:
In a bowl, mix water,yeast,sugar and salt. Mix it well with clean hands until sugar dissolves.

In a larger bowl mix all the dry ingredients. Add oil to it.

With the help of the liquid mixed in Step 1, knead a soft dough.

Shape the dough round and keep it covered with a damp cloth for 10 minutes. (Proofing id important)

After 10 minutes, punch in the dough and remove excess air out of it.

There shouldn’t be any lumps on it. (Lumps signify excess air and will make the bread fall flat)

Now Set the dough in a properly greased bread tin. Cover it with a dry cloth. Let it sit there for 45 minutes. 

Meanwhile, preheat the oven at 230 Degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.

Bake the bread after 45 minutes proofing at 230 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes( if open baking). If covering with a bread tin lid, bake for 30 minutes.

Carefully take out the bread from the oven, tap the upper surface of the bread, if it sounds hollow then it is baked properly.

De-mold the bread on a cooling rack and let it cool there for half and hour.

 Once the surface id normal in temperature, place it in a plastic bag for at least 4 hours before Slicing.

At least 4 hours of cooling with ensure neat slices.
