It takes loading lean protein to maintain a healthy body. This Sprout Salad Recipe that I have for you today is a perfect substitute to the boring plain sprouts.

For this Sprouts Vege Salad Recipe, You need:
50 gms Sprouted Black Gram(Kaale Channe in Hindi)
100 gms Sprouted Whole Bean (Moong sabut in Hindi)
1/2 shredded cabbage
8-10 leaves of spinach cut into small pieces
1 medium capsicum sliced into medium parts
1 carrot sliced
1 tomato without the pulp, sliced into medium parts
Handful of peanuts
2 teaspoons Honey
1 teaspoon Vinegar
Salt and Pepper
- In a non-stick pan, take 2 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Add a pinch of asafoetida(Hing). Add Sprouted Gram and Whole Beans. Add cabbage,capsicum,carrot and spinach leaves.Do not add tomato in the pan or the salad may turn soggy. Saute on low flame for about 5 minutes.
- Switch off the flame and allow this to cool. Meanwhile, take a small bowl and mix vinegar,lemon and honey. Add salt and pepper as per taste.
- In the cooled salad, add peanuts and tomato.
- Add the contents of the small bowl to the salad and mix well with two spoons so as to coat the salad evenly with the dressing.
