Today I have a very simple Pasta recipe with homemade White sauce and flavors that you will savor.
So here is your super easy to make White Sauce Pasta Recipe-
For this Recipe, You need-
200 grams Pasta (Fusilli/Penne/Rigate or any) (I have used Whole wheat Penne Pasta by Delmonte)
2 tablespoon Butter
2 tablespoon Cornflour/All-purpose flour(Maida)
300 ml Milk
1 small onion chopped to medium length
1 green capsicum chopped to medium length
1 red/yellow bell peppers or both (I like colors in my pasta so I have used both😊)
5-6 Green and Black Olives
Few leaves of Basil( Tusli)
1/4 cup of cream
2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil/Olive Oil
Salt as per preference
Chili Flakes (Optional)
White Sauce Pasta Preparation Method-
For White Sauce:
1. In a heating pan,melt butter and add cornflour/all-purpose flour on high flame and saute it until it turns slightly brown. Lower the flame slightly and add milk. Keep stirring the milk with spatula to avoid lumps. You will start noticing the milk getting thickened. Check the consistency and when it seems thick enough as a sauce then add Cream, Salt,Pepper and Oregano to it. Stir well and switch off the flame.
1. Boil the pasta in about 600 ml of water, adding pinch of salt to the water. Drain off excess water and rinse the pasta with cold water. ( You can follow the instructions on the pack)
2. In another pan. Heat oil and add capsicum, bell pepper,2-3 leaves of basil and olives. Keep frying until they turn crunchy.
3. Now heat up the white sauce pan again on medium flame. Add pasta and fried vegetables to it. Stir well till all the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
Your Easy White Sauce Pasta is ready to be served.
To garnish, you can add basil leaves, freshly grated mozzarella cheese and chili flakes(optional).
Note: You can add carrots,broccoli, corn or peas as per availability and as per your choice.
